자세한 공개수업 시간과 장소는 각 반 알림장을 참고하시고, 모두들 시간을 내시어 자녀들의 한국학교 수업을 참관하여 주시기 바랍니다.

Dear Parents,

The Manhattan Korean School will have an “Open Class Day” this October 23, 2010.  We invite you to join your child’s class to watch firsthand how the students are learning Korean each week and interacting in the classroom setting.  Further information will be provided by the homeroom teachers of each class in the weekly news sheets.  We hope that all of you will be able to join us on this special day.

Guidelines for Open Class Day

Parent volunteers and faculty members will be present at tables on the first floor as you enter the school, to give directions and to assist you to the correct classrooms.  In order for the day to run as smoothly as possible, we ask that you respect the following guidelines:

1. Parents should obtain their child’s open class schedule from their child’s teacher before coming to school.
2. To avoid disruption of instruction, parents are expected to enter the classroom at the beginning of the open class session, stay for the entire class, and exit at the end of the class session.
3. During the open class, we ask that parents restrict conversation in the classroom.  Any questions or conversation regarding personal issues should be deferred to a later time.
4. This is a classroom visitation for the parents of currently attending students only, not a trial for non-registered students.
5. Refrain from eating, drinking, and using your cellular phones in the classroom.
