Through various methods of communication, from storytelling to music and play, students are put in a Korean environment where they become accustomed to the language and culture.

From seeing various items and listening to their names, students are taught to associate objects with Korean syllables (through the combinations of consonants and vowels).

주변에서 흔히 접할 수 있는 사물의 이름을 통하여 한글 자음과 모음의 모양과 소리를 인지할 수 있다 .

Students learn to combine the different consonants and vowels that had been associated with objects in the Bbal-Gang Ban (Red).

일상 생활에서 흔히 접할 수 있는 사물의 이름을 통하여 한글 자음과 모음의 결합 원리를 익히고 이를 실행할 수 있다 .

Korean phonics is introduced. Students will learn how to speak and understand basic Korean words.

Using a theme throughout the term, basic dialogue is taught. Also, students will begin to learn to read and write.

Compound vowels and consonants are taught. Students will be able to have simple conversations and will be able to use what they learned in everyday life. Also, they will learn how to write basic sentences.

The class will focus on verb tense and usage. Students will learn various usages of the Korean language.

동사의 시제와 활용에 대해 배우고 일상 생활에 흔히 쓰이는 다양한 한국어 문형을 익히고 이를 활용할 수 있다 .

Descriptive words (adjectives and adverbs) open new doors to more fluent Korean speaking. Creating longer and more creative sentences will be practiced.

한국어 어휘력을 높이고 기본 한국어 문형에 관형사 부사를 이용한 풍부한 문장 표현을 익히고 , 이를 실생활에 사용할 수 있다 .

Students will be able to comprehend various genres of reading. Students will be able to express daily occurrences with words and writing.

다양한 종류의 글을 읽고 그 내용을 이해할 수 있으며 자신의 일상 생활의 일을 한국어로 말할 수 있고 , 이를 간단한 글로 표현할 수 있다 .

High level Korean words and simple Chinese characters are practiced. Students will easily express daily events with words and writing.

한자어의 습득을 통하여 한국어 어휘력을 향상시키고 한국어로 의사 소통이 가능하며 일상 생활의 일을 글로 잘 표현 할 수 있다 .

Students are fluent in Korean and can express in writing their emotions and ideas.

Advanced Korean is taught so that they will be able to take the SAT subject test with ease.
